Waited my turn at the jewelry counter for 45 minutes. Nice sale and counter person was efficient and polite. She sold to and checked out people in proper order, until me of course. Four people with overflowing buggies of small items line up while I am being served, NOT jewelry items. Lady takes my ALMOST purchase to the register and tells me I have to wait on her to check all those others out. I told her "No way, please put it back. I waited my turn". Really wanted it but they had many check out out lines open just 15 feet away.

Kmart used to be our go to place for several of the big purchases we needed to make. However, we refuse to step foot in Sumter Kmart for any reason now. The store is always a mess and if an item is labeled as a certain price on the shelf you have to double check EVERYTHING when you check out or you will be overcharged EVERY TIME. The sales Kmart offered used to be a major attraction for us but now you can't trust them to even properly mark items down and management will do everything they can to stop from giving you the item at the advertised discount price (even though it was clearly on sale!). The cashiers are also rude and untrained but after witnessing the poor management of this location its obvious that there is very little training that these employees are actually given before being placed at a register.

I have to be honest I use to enjoy kmart but, after today I wouldn't walk back through there door very rude customer service from the manager David and the sales associate that was in layaway.  Kmart need to learn to value customer service. There was one young lady who was helpful enough to try and show them the correct way to see my refund and I appreciate her very much.

Shorty service lousy employees stores says open til 10 online til you get there and its closed at 9 maybe the should pay more attention to the details and they wouldn't be going out of business lol
