Great way to shop for Christmas using their layaway program.  No minimum purchase or certain dollar amount per item. Much better than the other store across the street.  Very good prices. No hassle.  Nice

Even though the store is in financial distress, when I walked in there I was impressed with what I saw. I expected the shelves to be half empty and everything in disarray, but actually it was a very pleasant shopping experience. They had everything I needed and more, and I was in and out of the store in just a little over an hour. Plus, even though the parking lot was three-quarters full, I expected to find it hard navigating through the aisles, but I was wrong! For my next shopping day, I will be back. Very impressed! Sure, it is like going back in time as they are very much out of date with the checkout service and some other things but they are doing what they can.

Honesdale Kmart is a great store to get in and out quick. One downfall is they don't restock too often but, on the other hand, there are so few people in the store compared to Wal-Mart, they really don't need to stock often. Usually a great seasonal selection, especially summer.

Only come here for after sales on Xmas items and for jewelry. This business is closing on April 6th of this year. The manager didn't even tell the stores employees. They had to find out by FB post and the news. Such a shame.

The help is knowledgeable and always helpful. They stock brands that I love and their prices are reasonable.
