Was woken up at 130am to a phone call from the front desk saying "the fire alarm is going off in your room. You shouldn't be smoking in there". The problem with that statement is twofold. First off, I don't smoke. Secondly, even if I did, how could I do that while I'm asleep. So I go to the front desk and explain to the person who was working at the time, Mane (sp?), that he woke me up and that I would have woken up to the alarm first before a telephone call. I invited him to check out my room to see that there was no smoke or hint of smoke in the room. He was not interested in leaving the desk, and promptly told me that I had broken policy and that I needed to leave. Not only was he rude, but very unprofessional about the situation. Completely unfounded and just goes straight to "you need to pack your things and leave sir". So I went and checked in at the red roof inn and chatted with the front desk lady over there. Come to find out that they have a reputation for doing that I to people, and Scottish Inn (right across the street) is known for partying and drugs. People, if your considering staying here because of the price, buyer beware. You get what you pay for. I'd recommend the red roof inn which is a 5 min walk from this POS place. Much nicer rooms, a better pet policy (no extra fee for pets) and staff who aren't there just because it's a paycheck. I will NEVER consider a stay here again. I will update this review with how the refund situation plays out. Update: They still want to claim that I'm smoking, but the front desk personnel in the morning were very professional and gracious and gave me half back for the night I wasn't there. DO NOT deal with these people. They will use whatever excuse they can to extract as much money from you as possible. If you stay here, make sure you check your bank account during and after your stay for any erroneous charges.

This hotel slows smoking, at least on the 3rd floor, not sure about the 2nd. I was in my room for about an hour, walked to a store nearby and realized I smelled like a cigarette. I asked for another room and got it but it still isn't like a non-smoking hotel. It sends they have people either living here or for long periods of time. Haven't seen the breakfast yet but from what I've heard it should be acceptable, dry cereal, bagels, muffins, coffee. Not the worst I've seen.

Place is fine for an overnight stay. It was clean but there was no iron or ironing board in the room and the bath fan didn't work. Could use an update on the decor desperately. The location is great though with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby including a Starbucks which you'll need because what they offer can't be called coffee or real breakfast.

First big fan in the room. Sketchy people in here. The front desk girl nice. My kid is having fun as long she has WiFi.....

Just went to visit a friend who was staying there, didn't stay myself... Not the nicest place overall. Friend's room was mostly clean/maintained, but had large carpet stains, yellowed wallpaper, etc. Plus the hallways reeked of weed. There were employees at the front desk when I walked in but they didn't even look up/acknowledge me. This wasn't a big deal because I wasn't a customer, nor did I need assistance, but from a customer's point of view that would be a little unsettling - that literally anyone could just walk in and go right up the elevator without a word. All in all, certainly not the worst hotel I've ever seen but definitely not a place I'll be staying myself.
