Kolaches are pretty tasty. I ordered a jalapeño cheese 4/5, hot link 3.5/5, and a beast 3/5. I would have cut the potatoes on the latter it zapped much of the flavor. Prices are reasonable. The place is clean, but seems a bit disorganized. The baking is done a few doors down and so they don’t seem to know what they have.
New to the area so was looking for a kolache spot. Kolache Kings to the rescue. There is lots of variety and I was so happy to see VEGETARIAN kolaches. I tried the potato egg cheese one and it was bomb. My wife and her parents loved the sausage cheese and sausage jalapeno cheese. The bread is great and plenty of filling. I'll definitely be back for more! They've only been around 6 months since writing this. Support local biz, these guys are awesome.
First time trying their keto bomb! I've been looking for a lower carb option when my husband picks up breakfast. It is delicious & filling & perfect for a busy week day! The double sausage kolache is my favorite on the weekend
Best kolaches we’ve ever had! Full of flavor and not over-breaded. I’d share which one was my favorite but I’d just be listing the entire menu
The coffee was awesome, so that’s a plus. Jalapeño kolache was very average. The sausage itself was good so I will try it again but the pastry was lacking. Compared to some of the other pictures from reviews it looked like it needed more time in the oven. I’ll be going back again to see if my luck changes.
I got ham/cheese, sausage/jalapeño and boudin. The boudin was mid, could use salt and more rice. The sausage in the sausage and jalapeño was extremely dense. Needs more heat as well. The ham and cheese was the weakest of the three. Over breaded and whatever cheese is being used is not the best. For $3 a pop, not worth it, Kolache kings is a bold name to call a place that is mediocre at best.
The Kolaches are 10/10, especially sausage egg and cheese ! The customer service is even better, the owner and his staff were so welcoming and some of the profit goes to a children’s non-profit. Loved it and will go back again.
Definitely a little gem tucked away in Houston. The kolaches aren’t some tiny hotdog with a bit cheese. These are gourmet type kolaches. The bacon egg and cheese was great. Jalapeño sausage and cheese was stuffed. My coworkers and I really enjoyed these! Would definitely recommend them and be back!
You can tell the breading is different from many other Kolache makers it's delicious, if that isn't clear. There is a Kolache with 2 sausage patties that is a meal in of itself, so probably don't order two of those unless you are really, really hungry. Everything looked and tasted like it was fresh out of the oven and the service was great.
Ordered on Doordash well within their "open" hours, but KK never responded. The poor delivery driver went up there to pick it up, and they must have decided to close and not told anyone. I won't make the mistake of ordering from this place again.
