I'm not even a fan of Indian food and I love this place. South Indian cuisine - not your typical butter chicken - lots of fish - the food is fresh and delicious.

Owner / Server was incredibly caring and helpful with our choices and well as answering our questions. The food was to die for. Amazing amazing! Everyone go now!

Excellent food! Great service. Worth the trip off of Baker St. The chicken dosa is amazing! Eat here every time I come to Nelson.

Best Indian meal we’ve ever had! The chef is a young man who makes his family’s normal meals and called his food “simple and authentic”. But let me tell you, it’s not THAT simple when he talks about roasting seeds together, grinding them into spices that he uses in his dishes. The outcome of his work is a meal that is a pure delight. We thoroughly enjoyed two apps: pani puri and chicken-65 and our entrees were a lamb curry and a chicken curry served with fresh unleavened Indian bread (not quite like naan) and rice. Also the chef eagerly selected choices for us when we expressed an interest in his recommendations—we loved it and all his choices. Oh and he seems very tuned in to the average North Americans tolerance for spice and adjusted our food a bit but still have us a burn at a level we both really enjoyed. Can’t recommend enough. If you’re visiting Nelson, try this place out!
