Story

I founded Kory Miller Financial Management, Inc., with one goal in mind: to build lifetime relationships with families, individuals, and small business owners. My hope is to see everyone attain financial independence. I have the heart of a teacher and have committed myself to making sure my clients understand their investments. I am fortunate to serve clients throughout Colorado and in many different parts of our beautiful country.

I was born and raised an hour west of Chicago and am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. My financial services career began in 1998, working as an agent with The Northwestern Mutual Life Company. My time as an agent taught me the importance of Wealth Preservation (Insurance) and how it fits into the overall financial equation. I became a registered representative with A.G. Edwards in 2000, and learned the Wealth Accumulation (Investments) side of finance. I made the decision to become an independent LPL Advisor, and created Kory Miller Financial Management in 2005.

I have been happily married for over 23 years to my best friend, Sharon, and we have three children: a daughter and son in college, and a son in high school. Sharon and I enjoy serving others by teaching Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University at our local church. I enjoy skiing, hiking and climbing Colorado’s Fourteeners (the 54 highest peaks in Colorado). I also enjoy walking our dog, and learning to speak Jamaican Patois. Wah Gwann? (translation: What’s up?) I am a former board member of the Kiwanis Club of Greeley and the Dayspring Christian Academy’s Foundation Board.
