Koullshi is one of the most unique lounges in the region created by excavating deep below the highly acclaimed Tangierino Moroccan Chophouse in historic Charlestown. Over 5,000 square feet of colorful and elegant space was created and lavishly decorated to become the area’s only licensed smoking lounges featuring ancient hookah and premium cigars, complete with a full bar, an expansive menu of award–winning cuisine, exotic décor and comfortable seating from an intimate brick cave to plush leather lounge chairs.

This is by far the premier hookah bar in New England. The hookah is usually perfect and the food is to die for! It's a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. The waitress remembers what we like and is very attentive. I've been to hookah bars all around the US and Europe and this one is second to none. If I ever have the pleasure of going to an authentic hookah bar in Dubai, I'd imagine this is what the experience would be like.

Great place to relax, good food and drink selection, and solid hookah. Quite busy (and considerably louder) on weekend nights, so come early or be ready for a wait if you'd like a table with hookah.

This place reminds me of prison.  I have never been Locked up, however I'm sure they are pretty close in terms of the amount of restrictions they place on you. It is ridiculous how they try to govern your options and menue.

We went just for drinks and hookah. Staff was helpful when ordering, suggestion milk base for single flavors. I want to preface that we are not new to hookah, we own one ourselves and have been to many hookah Lounges. We got the strawberry with milk base and it was still harsh, and tasted like the Tobacco was burning. This was even after adjusting the coals and chamber.   I would give it another try, maybe order a different flavor.

Intimate underground cigar and hookah lounge underneath the Moroccan restaurant Tangierino in Charlestown.    Can be quite expensive but the atmosphere is awfully nice and the service is friendly.  I believe they have a $15 cutting fee for bringing your own cigars, and the house selection is limited to Ashton and a few Rocky Patels but the markup isn't huge. Great selection of spirits.   There is a round cave-like table in the back, which gives tremendous privacy and moderate acoustics for a $40 upcharge.
