We at the KKD strive to serve our customers fast, freshly prepared food items in the friendliest manner making them want to return time and time again.
We use the freshest ingredients possible when making all of our homemade soups and salads.
Every one of our salads is made in house.
Our burgers are hand formed and served to the temperature you desire.

Amazing sandwiches! Great sandwiches at a great price with friendly staff. No seating as it is order grab and go. Probably best known for their breakfast sandwiches called a shiner which is meat egg cheese and a hash brown on a bun. Good coffee too.

Was put on hold for a few minutes then they hung up out of nowhere. I call back and i’m put on hold for a very long time then they proceeded to hang up again out of the blue. Have always liked this takeout restaurant for their late hours and good food but customer service seems to be the least of their concern...When I called a third time and finally managed to get a word out of the guy answering he just hung up after I explained to him what had happened. Place has become a joke

Food is absolutely to die for. You get a taste of home cooking coupled with the traditional home town convenience store feel. Which is a unique personality for a place to grab a bite to go, I would give it more stars if there was the option.

Among the other entertaining spectacles that church street at midnight has to offer, Kountry Kart Deli provides patrons with a bite (or mouthful) of indulgence that’s hard to shake from your mind even days later. One could say part of the charming atmosphere is the friendly service, or maybe the excitement of watching your sandwich being made in the back by a bearded dude wearing a “Buns Expert” T shirt. Nevertheless Kountry Kart Deli epitomizes what it means to splurge on your taste buds, thus catering to a demographic unlike any other - drunk college kids. Situated within seeing distance of Church Street, even in the freezing cold snow people flock from all over for a sandwich with eggs and hash brown on it to run them anywhere from $8-12. Part of the mystique and popularity of this eatery can be attributed to just how unique and simple the food is, “Shiners” are sandwiches in soft sub rolls that filled with meats of your choice, and topped with 2 eggs and a hashbrown. The warm wood interior of the deli is notably cozy above all else, and the huge menus that hug high on wall around the front and left of the shop highlight the vast menu they have. Still, wraps, Sandwiches, Burgers, and fries are the name of the game at this eatery, but every time you go it will have seemed to have outdone the last. Kountry Kart usually remains semi crowded even in the winter up until it’s closing time of 3am, and while the lifeblood of KKD’s is Church Street, students from UVM and all over commute for the meal. In essence, Kountry Kart isn’t for the fine diners, or those trying to watch their calorie count. But what it lacks in health it makes up for two fold in flavor, originality, and atmosphere.

I love the food here its pretty amazing. I give it a 4 * cause 4 out of 5 times I ordered they messed it up somehow and not just in little ways. When I would call to have it corrected they put you on hold for an hr. Otherwise great place during the day.
