Just go for the atmosphere. Don’t go expecting great food, it is not that kind of place. But if you enjoy walking into a time warp and people watching then this is a must go! It’s a trip.

Incredible diner on the way to Kinderhook open late with amazing service and better food. The prime rib and chicken parmesan are must orders.

The food was only fair. Fried seafood platter was pretty good. Escargots were completely tasteless. Waitress brought a piece of pie for a friend's birthday surprise. Drinks were only OK. Fresh hot bread was great but butter was so cold it tore the bread.Smashed potatoes were not the norm for "smashed" They were flavored with cheese mashed. They were flavorful but not what one would expect for "smashed". Average prices. Ok parking.

Kozel's is resting on it's reputation. Ate there for over ten years from 1989 to 1999. Would never go back. ONLY BRIGHT SPOT WAS MY WAITRESS! Give her a raise.
