Good ol Kroghetto. Shelves barren. Don't waste your time. Go to Whittaker Rd, twice the size and actually has a selection with stocked shelves. Just shut this place down at this point.
They need to hire cashiers, not one cashier working and then you can't get help at self checkout. I don't get a discount for checking myself out and when I do it's only a few items. Do better.
This is not a good Kroger. We've gone here for around 3 years but it's slowly dissolved into a complete mess. The cashiers are extremely slow, rude and sometimes just forget entirely to scan items. At self checkout, delays when an error occurs can take up to 5 minutes which is absolutely ridiculous. The food here is not the freshest and for some reason greatly fluctuates in stock.
The staff is efficient and deserves wages to give them the conditions and freedom to enjoy their days off and on work. Essential workers should be respected and appreciated.
I have never felt safe in this store, and today an employee tried to shove me when entering the store! Then he angrily stared me down while I was shopping. Avoid this place! They don’t care about the customers at all!
500 times better than Kroger on Whittaker road in Ypsilanti. People actually offered to help rather than try to humiliate me because I am old and not super literate on smart phones
Needs to update there website to match when ppl are ready to work... website says 8am you should have worker's or someone there to take care of customers or redo your website.. inconvenienced again to reroute my day!
Prices keep going up uP UP... yet the number of cashiers keeps going down down down... Sunday 6/11 at 1pm and there's only ONE cashier with a line all the way to the back of the store.
You might wanna check the date on your food. Found yogurt in the refrigerator section that expired 2 weeks ago still on the shelf. Not to mention the self checkout always thinks you’re stealing. The attendant had to clear a message on the screen because it thought I didn’t scan an item. When she walked away a video of the attendant clearing the message popped up and had to get them clear the message again. Systems even think the attendants are stealing too. If you think customers are stealing then don’t have customers check out their own groceries and actually have more than self checkout open!
I was pretty unsatisfied with my experience at this location. The store and parking lot are very dirty and full of garbage. Since it is in a lower income area there were shopping cart theft prevention measures in place, but these prevented me from even getting a cart to use in the store. There is also a rather limited selection of fresh meat, seafood, and bakery items.
