One of the worst customer services I’ve experienced.  The advertising is always confusing here and never updated in the system.  Recently, I tried to purchase peanut butter on sale for $1.99 but it rang up for $2.99 without a discount.  I told the associate and she said she would remove the product.  I obviously want the product but at the price advertised!  I told her that I wanted the item and at the price indicated on the shelf.  If it’s wrong, it needs to be fixed!  To me it’s the principle of the matter, I don’t like to be deceived.  The associate was extremely rude the entire time.  I don’t care if I hold up any line, this should have been correct to begin with and I don’t care if it’s just $1.  I don’t see the cashier opening up her wallet and freely giving me that $1.  It’s always an ongoing battle at this location with purchasing items at the price advertised.  Please get it right for once.  The advertising here is confusing as all hell.  I think they purposefully do it to deceive people.  I’ve never had this issue at Harris Teeter and if there was a closer grocery store than Kroger I’d definitely go there instead.

Love the folks in the pharmacy, and Krogers  has great prices on dark chocolate and lots of other items, especially when they are on sale. In general I find good prices and helpful staff. It's not the closest to me but it's my favorite grocery store.

This store frequently runs out of certain items, and sometimes takes weeks to get them back in stock. They're very good about issuing rain checks, but that doesn't help if the item is needed at that time. For example, the dark chocolate Ensure will be available most of the time, but when they're out of it there might be a gap of 3-4 weeks before more comes in.

I love how close this grocery store is to my house, but its definitely not my favorite. Getting from the parking lot to the store is dodgy as there is usually a lot of traffic going by on the main thoroughfare that is right in front of the store. The produce also tends to be one step below what you can find at Harris Teeters. And if you need to come after 10 pm, you're going to find the customer base to be on the more sketchy side. Great assortment of seasonal stuff though, such as back to school supplies or summer stuff. And my kids love how inexpensive the vending machines are on the way out the door.

Do not get your gas here. Pump #1 continued gushing gas after my tank clicked full. Despite the fact that I was standing right there and pulled it out immediately, the Kroger attendant said it was my fault that gas went everywhere, then said, "So you just stood there and let it go?" with an attitude. Of course not, I was standing right there and acted as soon as I realized it was still going. How is it my fault the pump is broken? The attendant told me I had to go inside to ask about a refund for the overage (because of course the charge kept running up while I tried to stop the pump), then the woman at guest services told me there was nothing she could do and couldn't figure out who I should call "because I don't work there, I work inside" before giving me a number to their electronic payment provider. Completely unhelpful and dangerous!
