My car's engine started knocking when I was in a town near Girard, and wouldn't start up. I found my way home, 120 miles away, and started looking for a nearby shop to take in the car and figure out what was wrong with it. In hardly any time at all, Craig at Kruse had coordinated a towing pickup of my car and had it in the shop (this was over the holidays, mind you). Within a couple days, I got the diagnosis -- engine completely shot, needs replacement. Craig went through the trouble of calling shops around the area to find a suitable replacement, and when I wasn't happy with the only choice I had (due to very short warranty period) he spent part of a second day looking around for a replacement. None of the options were affordable enough considering the value of the car so I ended up putting it in as a trade at a local dealership. Craig was 100% understanding and helped me arrange the towing for the car to my home town. Estimates were reasonable (expected price considering a replacement engine), Craig was honest, the cost of towing and diagnosis was fair, and everyone at Kruse was helpful, even when it was clear I wasn't going to get any repairs done. Thank you for making a tough and stressful situation less so, Kruse!
