I'm not sure how I feel about Kumba Realty. I am in the process of applying for a unit. I applied on Saturday and checked on the status of the application on Tuesday I was told they would contact me as soon as they hear from the owners. I waited until Friday after 3p and contacted the office again. I was told that due to my credit history I would have to pay 2 months deposit which is fine, I have prepared in the event that this would happen. My complaint is the way this was communicated to me.... as if she was expecting me to say I couldn't afford that. Then I was told to email her so it is in writing that I would agree to pay that. My issue here is that after being told I would be emailed with further instructions I am expected to email her with an agreement to pay quite a bit of money. I would liked to be emailed a full breakdown of what my financial responsibility will be for renting this unit along with an invitation to meet the management team that will be handling the unit I will be calling home for the next year. I am hoping my first impressions of this company are wrong. I look forward to changing this review to 5 stars in the near future.

I made a mistake by getting two dogs and not letting them know I totally understand that and I apologize multiple times and even offer to pay the pet deposit fee unfortunately they were pit bull and were not allowed in the property and I was find with it I decided to take them to my shop and the dogs were living there feomwhen that happen it was a nightmare !!!!' I was even accused of having a dirty the house dirty and I living in un healthy conditions these were words" how can they live like this " ok and I said nothing I wasn't there when they visited the property but my step daughter was there and was overhearing every nasty word disrespecting my family and at that time my house where my 3 children lived ! I would have people visit me and even tell me that they couldn't believe how the house was clean even having 3 toddlers running around everywhere this happen twice because they checked the house twice . Finally they owner decided not to renew the lease and I was still fine with it I started looking for a property and was given a extra month to move out I was a little bit  nervous because I was in my second week and still couldn't find anything and I received a email and said that I they needed to check the house AGAIN and still I said it was fine well after they left I get a email from kumba letting me know that why I still haven't packed anything and dosing seemed that I was moving out and to don't forget o had to move out by the end of the month ! I knew about it she's didn't have to send that email again. Thank god i found a property and was able to move out !!!!! I was never expecting to receive my deposit a total of $1,550 because I knew that they n ended to clean the house and have it ready for the next tenant the reason I didn't hired a deep move out company that I was going to because they told me that no matter what they were going to do it and I was going to get charge $275.00 . 
On 8/30 I received a certified mail with invoices from Kumba realty stating that I had to pay $475.00 on top of the deposit amount and I was ok we'll let me pay it what ever Today after a month I received a email from Kumba Realty saying 
If you want to send us a check in the full amount you owe $1235 we would consider letting go of the charges we are still waiting for invoices.  Otherwise, if we have to send this to collections both charges will be added.  Please respond tks Lidya

So know I don't owe $475.00 I owe $1235 plus they kept my deposit and was told there might be more charges that's the reason why I'm making the decision to contact a lawyer and ge help .

We worked with Lydia and the Kumba team for three years, first as renters in a Kumba managed property and then as buyers of that same managed property. Our concerns as renters were always answered promptly, their maintenance team was courteous and helpful and when it came time to pay rent every month their electronic payment system was very easy to use.  

I would also recommend using Kumba's services if you are buying or selling a home.  This was our 4th home purchase and probably the easiest so far. Very happy with our relationship with the fine folks at Kumba.

Excellent team of property managers.  They've worked hard to keep the tenants I've had for over 4 years now.  When those tenants were ready to move out, they found us new tenants and had them moved in within a month so we didn't even miss a payment.  Couldn't recommend them more highly!

Not bad while we lived there but I was shocked by some of the charges they tried to stick us with.  My advice would be to photo and document EVERYTHING the day you move in.  That's the only thing that even remotely saved us.  Janet even tried to charge us for an air filter replacement that we changed and dated with a Sharpie.  It was insane.  If I ever move back to Orlando I'll stay away from any of their properties.
