Full Service Event Venue
The Kyle House has reopened as Bryan’s only historic event facility and gallery. You’ll discover many enhancements. The home’s architecture continues to showcase its Victorian charm while the versatile interior space allows you to customize the venue to your needs. Whether your event uses the entire property or one intimate room, the Kyle House is perfect for receptions, dinners, lectures, retreats, fundraisers, weddings and holiday parties.
Light pours in during the day, making the space ideal for art classes and celebratory occasions like baby showers. Local photographers and painters are excited to work in house because of its uniqueness and visual appeal; art classes are scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday this fall. Guests will enjoy the newly installed gallery lighting and state-of-the-art sound system that bring to life the ivory-colored walls hung with art. Soaring 18-foot ceilings and original oak hardwood floors detail the almost 4,000 square foot property, which was the home of Dr. Edwin Kyle, namesake of Aggieland’s beloved Kyle Field football stadium.
The Kyle House grounds also include a charming gazebo, extensive landscaped outdoor area and front porch, perfect for sipping a peach iced tea or a cold beer. Nestled at the southern end of revitalized Downtown Bryan, the Kyle House offers a prime location adjacent to restaurants, antique shops and the La Salle Hotel.
Events:
At The Kyle House, every detail is taken care of so you can enjoy yourself. The lawns surrounding the home cover over an acre creating ample room for lush gardens and seating for your guest. At The Kyle House, we treat all our guest with the same hospitality we offer guest in our own home. With a tenured service staff and artistry chefs, you truly will be spoiled.
