I love the towel cake with matcha red bean favor.  It ran out if you go there late.  I had to take the towel cake with ube sweet potato favor when the matcha red bean favor ran out, it’s also pretty good.  I also like the crepe layer cake with peach oolong favor, the tea favor makes it special.

Really unique desserts and beautiful presentation. The passion fruit crepe cake was so light and fluffy. I also tried the sweet potato towel cake as I was curious about it, I was blown away by the presentation and the attention to details. I found it to be super dense however because it was 90% cream and the rest was crepe. The Bobba cake was excellent and the matcha layered crepe is an acquired taste but still amazing!  All and all its a great place and am glad they have this branch in Pike & Rose!

I been wanting to try this place for a long time, since I love matcha. Had someone pick up a few things for me and was not disappointed. Next time that I am in the area will definitely go and try other items. The towel cakes are delicious and the matcha cheesecake is very unique.

If you're a fan of matcha, this place is a must-visit. Personally, I always opt for their ice cream, and it never fails to impress. While more topping options would be a bonus, the overall experience is great. The vibe of the place adds to the enjoyment. If you enjoy Japanese deserts, this is the place for you. It has unique pastries [tea flavored] and drinks. If you are a matcha lover they have matcha ice cream, cake and drinks.

went there on Jan 22, 2022 for my first time. i would never go back to Kyoto Matcha, because the Ube Blanket is not good and the Dream Sakura is too sweet. they were nasty overall except the drink

Definitely a must visit while in Maryland. They have some unique Japanese desserts like the Sakura Cheese Mousse cake, Sakura Raindrop Cake and the Ube & Matcha Towel Cakes. They also serve Matcha soft serve and sundaes.

They have so many unique fun treats. Not too sweet, and very yummy!!
