We visited Belcher and the greater Shreveport area in early September 2016. Our friends live in the area and we did not want to drive from a hotel in town. The L'Evangeline exceeded our expectations!

Deborah refurbished this historic house and brought charm to a wonderful building.

My wife and I found it special that we had the house to ourselves. The breakfast was top drawer - the quiche and fruit combo was the perfect fuel for a day of exploring the bayous and backroods. 

We will be back!
