I ordered through seamless. Delivery was on time. I ordered the virgin pina colada and the camarofongo. The pina colada was creamy and sweet. Not too frozen that you couldn’t get it through the straw. It had a little cherry on top and it was a good amount. The mofongo was okay. I liked that it had sauce but the sauce was a little bland. The mound was pretty big but it was lacking a little. The shrimp were just on top, none cooked in to the little hill like I’ve had at other places. Reading through reviews I didn’t see much about the mofongo and maybe this is why. It was alright but I’ve definitely had better. I didn’t go to this establishment so I can’t tell you much about the vibe of the place. The food was pricey at $20 for the mofongo with shrimp. But the portion was on the bigger side so maybe worth it for the portion size just not really for the flavor.
Rustic yet cozy, tucked away spot. The food was delicious; atmosphere was quiet just how I like it. The aesthetics feel was unique.Food: 5/5
Delicious food, the best Dominican spot in the area. Generous servings for a great price. Best mango shake I’ve had at any restaurant. Come check it out, you won’t regret it!
The Dominican breakfast is amazing! Go for it! I ordered it on Uber and I was very impressed with how good the mangú was! I will definitely order it in the future again! Thank you to the staff!Food: 5/5

I went into La Aurora to pick up food. I am bilingual speak Spanish and English. I asked the ladies one Spanish and the other Bilingual with lip ring and helix. I asked if Laura G. Was ready ! Then I got no response and patiently waited. Then about two mins I asked if there was a timeframe on the order. The bilingual girl said the other lady didn’t check yet with attitude. Then while waiting men that were Uber drivers as well started asking about their orders and she went towards the Spanish woman and said idk why they keep asking we would tell them if it were ready in Spanish. So I said in Spanish like they are asking because we aren’t getting a response no timeframe. The bilingual girl then said I am not speaking with you I’m speaking with her and I’m like well I’m also one waiting and not getting a response or standing up for the person who doesn’t know what she said. I then said I was going to write a review because I have gone to sooooo many UBEREATS deliveries and never experiences such disrespect. She then said she can BLOCK ME from Coming to pick up. So I told her go ahead and gave her my full name. She then kept going stating she doesn’t know who I think I am and ranting off. We are in queens not the BRONX. I know when and where to turn it off. All delivery people are entitled a timeframe or response. She told one guys so rude tho like billy is ready but not Shirley. Like then give him a timeframe. Anyways she does not need to be working there it seems like a classy way restaurant. I may rewrite this in Spanish for those don’t understand no worries.
Breakfast time, I wanted to go for some Mangu. It's been a while, Sunday morning and I'm the 2nd person in this place. They didn't have any food prepared behind glass at the front counter like a typical Dominican Restaurant or any Spanish restaurant , just wine bottles. No big deal I came in for the Mangu. I placed my order and my server said 10 minutes. It was ready in 9. I was really hoping the Mangu wouldn't be dry and it wasn't, sort of in between. Eggs were cooked well even without me requesting how I wanted them, the fried cheese and salami both thick also cooked well. Really enjoyed their red onions, defines a great Mangu dish. They got it right. I'll be in next for a Dinner platter.
Very bad waiting time in this place. I waited 60 minutes for my order This is unbelievable. BUT, very good food! They dispatched me pretty well. We ordered chicharrón de cerdo with white rice and beans and it was delicious. Just the waiting time was the problem but other than that pretty good food.
The food is always good when I order. Love the empanadas from this place.Food: 5/5
Unfortunately one of the worse experience I have encounter with this Restaurant called La Aurora I had placed an order for delivery and They sent me a salmon fish that was all broken in to pieces as if somebody left over, the sauce was not even a sauce it was all water down.. I called the place hoping for a change of my Order and Veronica who said she was the owner was unable to even help me.. very disappointed with not just only the service, but even the disrespect I received from Veronica that she didn’t even let me finish and hung up with out me not finishing what I was explaining.
