History:
La Bellavia has been serving outstanding food in this unique location since 1976

Owned by Patricia Gomez, La Bellavia is located one block south of the train station in the historic Merle Saver Building

Pat has been La Bellavia's head cook going on 23 years. And as of Aug 1st 2011 She became owner. Her dedication and skill are reflected in the quality of the food served

Service was very slow. Four different people served us. It took nearly an hour for them to make two breakfast entrees, despite it not being very busy. Very poorly managed. Never got my side item that I ordered. Coffee was bland. No itemized receipt given, just a piece of paper with the total hastily scribbled on it. Very sketchy. Two stars because the food was great, but the service and overall experience completely destroyed any desire I might have had to come back to this location. Would not recommend.

Can’t believe this was my first time here!  Got an omelette and it came smothered in some delicious hollandaise sauce with a very good buttermilk pancake on the side. I wiped the plate clean with my english muffin. Very homey place this is definitely a Flagstaff local joint. Service was a little slow but it was not horrible.

Small venue, hard to have conversations but a great place for coffee and people watching, while doing work.

Tasty food at a reasonable price. Relaxed, unrushed atmosphere, just what I was looking for. I came here two mornings in a row because the food was good and the location convenient. I'll come again next time I'm in town.

Stopped in this morning for breakfast.  Normally I've had nothing but great service but today the gentlemen working did not acknowledge us waiting to be seated as the sign posted. Then when he finally got to us, without a smile or anything just said sit where you want, so we did. After 10 minutes he walked by us several times took several orders of others who had been seated after us. We sat and patiently waited.  But no water or anything. After 15 minutes we decided to go somewhere else. Sad to say that his service will keep us from enjoying la bellavia again....... a smile goes a long way. Words do too!
