This visit occurred on a Wednesday evening. We had no difficulty getting a place to park. Our group consisted of three adults and a small child. We were seated immediately. The other adults ordered food plates, while I ordered nachos and a single taco on the side. My taco was good and the nachos were plentiful and very good! The service was quick and friendly!
The food was excellent. Nice and friendly atmosphere.Food: 5/5
This restaurant is very quaint, with excellent service but the food is not great. I'm not sure why their food is topped with American cheese shreds instead of cheddar; I've never had this at other Mexican food establishments. I think they give generous portion servings, but if the food is bland it really doesn't matter. The guacamole had a very off taste. In my opinion, it's like Taco Bell but costs 3x as much. Our 2 person LUNCH was $32 that included a sprite and tea. The sprite was $3.50. A high end seafood establishment here in Beaumont doesn't charge that for drinks.
Great atmosphere, waiters were great, one went above and beyond to find me some authentic hot sauce, while another told me they didn’t have any and brought me Valentino insteadFood: 5/5
First time eating here and I'm not impressed. Food is very bland, no flavor, no seasoning. We got the Polo Loco, it had wayyy too much cheese and very greasy. Tried the house frozen margarita and ewwwfff not one hint of lime, the margarita was white and no flavor at all. My first margarita in all my years that I sent back. The waiter his name started w/a T was friendly, didn't bring us a glass of water the entire time we were there, spoke broken English and it wasn't good. Fernando the bus boy was very nice and so helpful, spoke broken English, but we could understand him. This establishment was very clean and atmosphere was great. You can get an ice cream cone on your way out and that tasted as it should. If you want bland food with no flavor this is your place. Go next door better tasting food and margaritas!!! I'm sorry, but we will not be back. Parking: No problem parking as the parking lot was empty. Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair Accessible
I loved the food. Had Shrimp Diabolo lunch portion—amazing. Corn tortillas made onsite and yummy. Good service. Lunch companion had Chicken Fajitas lunch portion said his was great. Salsas two kinds both excellent. Atmosphere very good.Food: 5/5
Normally a great experience. This visit however, it took forever to get our food and it was not that busy. I had to ask for a drink refill. The noise level was outrageous. A little too much alcohol for one group. Additionally we got to watch the server that did such a poor job, count his tips rather than tending to his customers. This is the only bad experience we have had here. It's normally all good. I will go back.
They were real good about giving me refills on my lemonade. However I asked for rice and beans but never received them. Got charged an extra 599 for one taco and the tacos were very salty. Not a great environment was decent. Service was good overall food not great at all.Food: 1/5
Very noisy atmosphere. The server was uncordial but professional. The food was served so fast that I really felt like it had been plated earlier and sat in the kitchen. The food was bland.Food: 2/5
We were so hungry, wanted Mexican food and ended coming here. Food was delicious, we got a parrillada for 3 because some restaurants are stingy lol but we couldn't eat it all. They had some of the best charro beans we have ever had. Will definitely come back when we are in town.Food: 5/5
