As always, the food was good and the service was great! Always a pleasure to dine at La Carreta in Amite!

Service is prompt, establishment is clean and decorum suits the theme, patio in September is very pleasant
Food is fresh, hot, well balanced and portions substantial, cilantro was freshly pulled very bold and the beer tooth chipping cold, over all  if I come back to this town I will eat here again

P.S for the middle aged wise cracking towny taco Bell doesn't sell ceviche... especially good ceviche.

I give them a 3 star review because I only eat the last correta cheese dip which is awesome

Friendly attentive staff. Good salsa and chips. House margaritas are just ok but top shelf are good. Nice decor and good tunes on patio. Overall a great find.

Food didn't taste bad. But as far as Mexican goes it's expensive and they don't have much for options. It's contemporary Mexican food so I guess that's the reason why it's like that. But I've never in my life been to a Mexican restaurant that takes so long to serve food. Both times I've eaten here. It doesn't hold a candle to the El sombrero's of the world that's for sure.
