The WINE store is delightful with a great selection. The young woman that helped me was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

The food is great, but they change the dinner menu and raise the prices. Go there for lunch. Same portions, about 1/2 the price. They will not honor their lunch menu...because they have their RULES

The wine store hours said they closed at 7:00 but when I dropped by at 6:00, they were closed. This happens often. Guys, if you say you will be there, be there. Think I will open a wine store.

This place does not live up to its hype at all. The only two good things are in this place - location is nice and the servers are good. However, the food is terrible and prices are way too high for the quality of food you get. First of all, margaritas taste like they were poured straight out of cardboard box mix. I don't understand how can anyone screw up such a basic drink, but at La Casa Sena they somehow do. The food was particularly dreadful - bread was stale, butter tasteless, steak (despite its $41 price) was flavorless and rubbery, green beans tough and stringy, purple potatoes were soggy, and my wife's lobster crepe tasted so fishy that I was afraid it was tainted. But the worst of all of the desert - $10 German chocolate cake and coconut pannacotta featured a small piece of stale, dry, and pine-needle tasting of basically brownie with equally lousy and slimy pannacotta. The dessert chef that they proudly display on the menue - Matthew Fox - should not be allowed in the kitchen. Any starndard supermarket boxed dessert is infinitely better that what we tasted at this place. So, in the end we spent $114 for a dinner for 2 with only one glass of wine and one margarita, and, honestly, I would take a fast food any time over what we experienced at this pretentious place. Instead of buying high-quality ingredients and letting the food speak for itself, La Casa Sena tries to cover up poor quality of ingredients and ineptitude of its cooks with arrogant, pretentious names and food combinations. Avoid this place at all costs! There are many other places in Santa Fe that offer much better food at half the price.
