Food quality was wrong from the bag. 2 days same ordered items. Ordered lunch, half right, “#2 was good, the #3 was a leftover breakfast that was old and inedible, closer would’ve been easy wrong back, refund, bye! El Cajon to Spring Valley is to far for a meal refund. Other offer was to make it up”next time”. NO,ruined any chance for return, bad food served is last serve. A refund option is added, but no refund given.
The food was delicious. I had the Chile Verde, the pork was very tender and the flavors were amazing. The rice was soft, but not mushy. I've been to plenty of places where the rice was either crunchy or just a mush, but this was great. This is definitely my new favorite place down here. Make a point to go and try something.Food: 5/5
It was ok, I got a breakfast burrito that had beans which I personally don't like in a Bacon breakfast burrito. To make it worse they put ham and not bacon like I asked. They did have extremely good red and green salsa by far better than any other place a perfect balance of flavor and spice with the salsa... A+ they also included free tortilla chips in the bag which was a nice Plus. Overall I'd be willing to try some other foods and maybe next time get a bacon breakfast burrito without beans or ham.
Just Wow! I have high standards when it comes to taco shops. I want alot of food for a reasonable price, amazing flavor, and friendly staff. This place hits all those and more. First off, the shop looks small and given its location i would dismiss it easily. If you skip this place you will be disappointed. Ok The food. Surf &Turf Fries. If you don't order this you are wrong. Large great tasting shrimp, perfectly cooked steak, topped with beans, cheese, and guacamole. One plate easily feeds 2 regular people. Even a fat guy like me didn't quite finish it. Definitely worth being a regular place for great food.
Great and super friendly. The food is amazing fresh and good. Love the shrimp cocktail. You got to try everything on the menu. Food is amazing great welcoming friendly . The food is delicious every time . Wow TJ style tacos amazing
Food is consistently good and service is quick. I used to eat here all the time in like 08 on my drive down from Ramona. Get a chorizo burrito with fries or cali burrito back then. I moved went to school and now in 2021 i move back to el cajon and the spot is still there. That is saying something to the work ethic and food. Place reminds me of my tio's house in the 90's.
Had the breakfast burrito on Monday morning and sat on the toilet for the next 3 days.....with the high prices of eggs and food in general makes you wonder about their safe food practicesFood: 1/5
Good place to have Mexican food i had mahaca plat it was good but little salty my wife had comb #2 cheese enchilada with Chile relleno with rice & guacamole will recommend this place if you want Mexican food There is a problem with the restaurants nowadays i orther a macha plate as i was eating the Plastic skin of the onions I was showing like if I was showing a plastic I was very disappointed You want to have a good breakfast but then this thing's come up on the breakfast Every time I find a problem when I give him a 5 and I come back again and I find a problem I'm gonna take a start out of them. well can back to try there menudo Soup is to watery will not orther this again
Great food, the flavor is very authentic and the portions are big, I'm glad I found this hidden place, I drove by other times but never seen it, will definitely be back again! Sorry but I took the picture of the aguachile after eating, lol
The food here is great! The only problem is they never, and I mean never give you enough salsa. Even when you ask for more and they're already using the smallest containers ever. Other than that, the food is great.
