My chicken tenders were nice. The batter was interesting and the tenders were very moist. The french fries were cold and not the freshest but I think they were all right. The two ladies that work there were very sweet.  I enjoyed the tea. My husband had the mashed potatoes and gravy and he said it was good. He said his three-pieces of dark chicken we're excellent. :

Takes a minute to get your food but it’s hot and seems very fresh. I’ve only gotten the chicken strips, fish, hush puppies, okra and fries. Can’t say anything about the complaints regarding the other sides but what I’ve gotten has been good and worth the wait. Also not too expensive

The food is good if they have it in stock. Been several times and each time they are out of something, once chicken tenders, once mashed potatoes, and once coleslaw.

One of the best places to get fried chicken and fried fish. The food was fresh and hot. You could tell that it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. The Tea was wonderful and the Boudin rolls were fantastic!!! Very clean building with plenty of room to dine in and a lot of parking space. The staff were very nice and respectful as well. I'll be going back real soon. Next time ill try the hot wings!!!  This go round i had the tenders and my wife had the fried fish.

Chicken is great but the sides are very bland. Pretty sure the mashed potatoes are instant. Tasted like water. Customer Service was amazing. While this was my first visit here and I was disappointed, I will give them a second try.

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat if you're in a hurry or dine in great food  great people nice quiet calming effect to it and if you like good fried chicken or catfish this is the place

Great food at a great price!   Fish pieces were large and perfectly seasoned.  Fried chicken was like old fashioned fried chicken with great seasoning and just the right amount of breading.  Place was clean and owners very attentive.  Will be going back soon!

Been here twice, second time was their second chance. Worst service I've had I Brenham. Treated like a second class citizen. Food took forever.

Ok this is a good place to stop to get some good crispy fried chicken. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean and organized. I noticed that there many people coming in to order the Shack Pack. Not sure what it was but it must be good. Oh yeah they have decent size pieces of chicken at very reasonable prices. Check it out if you are ever in Brenham.

Please support this small business!! I never order non-spicy chicken because most spicy chicken at big chicken restaurants are already under seasoned in my experience but this is the first time I had tasty non-spicy chicken!! Staff is pretty helpful and friendly too. Wish I could come back for more but I am from Houston which is hours away.
