All the fishes tasted great !! We were here for every occasion and never feel tired of it.  The lamb chop portion was always humongous.  Highly recommend for meat lovers

The octopus salad, Sole and the classic duck was delicious.  The ambience  and service was delightful.  The portions were big for me.  And lastly their napoleon cake was so light and good.   I would come back next time.

Very nice outdoor seating during the pandemic.  Comfortable well prepared food at fair prices. Wonderful bread plate. Great service. Highly recommended.

Very nice refreshing experience. And, I'm not being sarcastic here. So many traditional French restaurants have closed through last 20 years.  This restaurant is not exactly La Cote Basque. I wish though....... Anyway, it is very good.  NO MUSIC. Pretty odd hah. But, my wife mentioned it before I noticed........  It is awesome that the owners/management made the effort and made a point of not having ANY music - so GOOD.  Wait staff/maitre d' were very attentive. Not too much but just enough. There was an interesting passionate altercation in the kitchen - everyone everyone was so cool reacting to that.  Food is not exactly very traditional French. Traditional French is probably too expensive to handle from the business perspective. Don't want to go the very details of the dishes but here is the summary: shared halibut was tasty and split into two portions awesome touch, snails were good, foie gras was good, hot bread with olive tapenade and butter was very good. Cocktails were good.  It is not too expensive btw. Not at all.  Sitting we liked a lot. Not sure what the separation in the middle is for.  Deserts were nice. We loved this lite take on Napoleon.  Thanks you for not masking the waiters.

This place has some very authentic French cuisine.  The French onion soup is absolutely a delight most other places are too salty, this is just right with the proper cheese added.  Their roast duck and lamb is utterly a delight.

What a lovely experience! Beautiful ambience, incredible service, and the food was merveilleux!! The attention to detail was overwhelming. It was an unforgettable evening!  Parking: The parking is literally right outside parallel to the front door.

One of my most favorite restaurants@ They never have a so-called "off" night as the food is consistently excellent. Best Caesar salad in LI and I also generally like the half-chicken while my son goes for the lamb chops or steak. Cozy, friendly with delicious food, small portions and decent prices. Great for any occasion. I celebrated my birthday there last sunday with my family. Good seafood selections. Drinks were a bit too strong for my family members, but not for me. Maybe because my drink was not from their menu. I will definitely come back one day!

One of the best Restaurants in Manhasset if not the Best. Outstanding Service along with Also outstanding Food. Creative  menu. Chef’s Specials a must to try. Enjoy the service of Joseph, Alex and Mike, a trio who will make you feel special. We felt. Thank You for the outstanding dining experience. We will be back.  ... and we came back. This time we had the crab Cake Special and the delicious halibut. We love La Coquille.  La Coquille keeps steady to gives an exceptional service and Great Food. We enjoy the Dessert Cart. Busy almost all the time, meaning they are do something right. Highly recommended  La Coquille is our choice to dine out. The menu is enticing as well the Chefs Specials. We had the restaurant Specialty Duck with Orange Sauce. It was Devinely moist and crispy. We also had the Swordfish with Risotto topped with white asparagus. Delicious. The Service is outstanding. We always have a beautiful dinning experience at La Coquille.
