I was a witness to a very serious accident where a man was hit by a car right in front of they facility.  I was the first to render aid to the man and he was bleeding from the head and going in shock.  There was a nurse and administrator from this facility who just were standing around him, and when I asked them for  a blanket or sterile bandage, they refused.  They said it was for liability reasons they can't help.  The man was elderly and I would not trust any elderly person to be cared for with so little compassion as I witnessed that night.  I think the public should know how much they DIDN"T help  A very kids person did offer her jacket to place under his head and he is doing well today.

I was a resident at Verdugo Vista for 7 months. Their physical therapy program is excellent. I was able with their help to progress to assisted living. The food is very good, and the staff was very helpful, courteous, and pleasant. It was a very rewarding experience for me.
