Even by airport restaurant standards, this is very bad. The tables were dirty, so we sat at the bar. Several breakfast items on the menu that we asked for and the lady down the bar as well were sold out by . . . 9:30 am? The “toast” that was available was just bread with a huge hole in it. The scone was served in a paper bag rather than a plate and was lackluster. The fruit is sliced incredibly thin. The peach iced tea drink was good. The Diet Pepsi was good $4.10.
My long reviews are reserved for deserving places. This one is not. 15.59 for an Aquafina, a small cappuccino, and a cinnamon bun. I get that i am paying airport prices, however, it was not worth it. The cinnamon bun, although a decent size, was terribly tasteless. It tastes like bread sprinkled with a bit of cinnamon. No glazing either. Not much flavor to it. The cappuccino might as well be thimble size and it was certainly not a cappuccino but a latte. Places that serve coffee like these seem not to understand the very basics of coffee drinks. This "cappuccino" was filled to the rim with milk and the coffee itself was not great tasting. This was a disappointment all around.
Grabbed a bite and a beer at airport before flight home. Quiche Lorraine was fantastic, best I have had in years. Bar tender was good guy too.Food: 5/5
The service was great, Sara was a great server. But was disappointed about the pastries. First I ordered a scone, it was dry and soggy, had to send it back. Then I ordered a “cinnamon” roll. There was just a sprinkle of cinnamon on it, no raisins, no nuts, no frosting. What a disapointemnt. In top of that they don’t even warm up the food to give it a fresh taste.
I dined at this restaurant in Terminal 2 of Raleigh Airport and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. It seemed clear that the food was hastily prepared by someone lacking proper culinary skills. Both the quality and presentation fell short of expectations, especially considering how appetizing the menu images appeared — quite misleading, to be honest. Additionally, my experience with the beverages was underwhelming. The hot beverage I initially ordered was unavailable, and the alternative provided was excessively sweet to the point of being undrinkable. While the service wasn't the most efficient, I will note that some staff members did make a pleasant effort to be nice amidst the chaos. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The combination of poor food quality, misleading advertising, and hit-or-miss service suggests that your dining options might be better explored elsewhere in the airport.
Cute bakery. It’s located at Terminal 2 inside the RDU airport by the D gates. You’ll see it right after you get through security and start walking. I bought the cinnamon white chocolate scone. It was good, hard on the outside, soft on the inside with good flavor. I would buy again. There were customers upset they couldn’t eat at their tables. You’ll see other reviews stating the same thing- you’re not allowed to eat at the tables they provide because they offer sit down service where they wait on you. So once you buy your food- find a place to eat other than the tables you see, otherwise you’ll be asked to move.
I requested jam, I got grassy bacon instead, but was fine. The waitress is kind of rude, she gives you continuously the check without asking for it, seems she es asking you to leave the place, but she trows the checks on the table, not nice, even if I requested more stuff… the bread is delicious certainlyFood: 3/5
The RDU airport location won't allow paying customers to use their tables and chairs. After paying, I attempted to sit down in the seating area and was told by staff that customers who order at the counter are not permitted to use any of the tables or chairs in the restaurant area. She told me that had I wanted to use the tables, I would have needed to order from a server, but she could not reverse my order and place it with a server so that we might sit down. I have been to a lot of airport restaurants with different types of service, but I have never encountered one that has seating but doesn't allow certain paying customers to use it. At airports, it's very common to order food, then grab a table and eat it. There were no warning signs in the line, at the counter and the employee who took my order did not tell me that I would not be allowed to eat there. Had this been clearly posted or communicated, I would have simply gone elsewhere. This is not a normal practice for an airport restaurant and their staff was exceedingly rude -- as though they didn't care that I just spent nearly $40 on three sandwiches.
Grab the quick breakfast here and it was delicious! I ate the bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Didn't try any of the other pastries but everything looked amazing. They're sourdough also looked really good! Obviously prices are a bit high since it's an airport, but with that in consideration it was pretty reasonable. And all of the ingredients were pretty fresh!
I only got matcha latte but the food were looking pretty good from what i saw people orderedFood: 5/5
