I love working out here!!! Its my favorite la fitness location! It's a very clean gym. The locker rooms, showers, swimming pool are all very clean! The staff is very sweet and helpful. I have always had a great workout here and got such a great deal monthly!!

This location opened a couple of months ago and it is the nicest LA Fitness around. Everything is brand new. Bars are good and have lots of grip. The hexagonal weights do make deadlifts a little more difficult. Would definitely recommend this location.

The new facility is awesome. I’ve been a member since 2010, and frequented nearly all the clubs around metro Atlanta. With that said, this is the first time I’ve felt racially profiled.

I’m an African American male, and I use the facility to shave at times. I never leave a mess nor have I ever had anyone to tell me to clean up behind myself. On this day (3/13) I’m shaving as usual. The Hispanic janitor walks past me on more than one occasion and says nothing. The big boss ( as I found out later ) walks by me as well and says nothing. A few minutes later, the janitor come in with the big boss peering over his shoulder and tells me to “make sure I clean up my mess” as if I’m not a 36 year adult that happens to manage a national automobile repair chair (that’s of little consequence but it shows I do at least have some comprehension of facility maintenance as well as managing people). 

I finish shaving and clean up my area as always and I approach the janitor to ask him why out would he approach me to ensure I clean up my mess and I’ve never seen him approach the countless other Caucasians whom shave on a daily basis, and his answer was a mix of Spanish mumble incoherent rhetoric. He couldn’t give a straight answer. I’ve seen him countless times at the old facility never utter a word to others yet, conveniently now you want to overlook me as if I’m an adolescent. It wasn’t his fault I’m sure. It was the leering boss that if he felt I was doing something inappropriate, should have spoken to me upon his initial noticing. Yes I have facial hair and I shave with clippers as opposed to a razor, but isn’t that what the outlets in the bathroom are for? Mind you when I left there was a Caucasian male with an array of beauty and hair product around the sink doing the exact same thing I was. I wonder if both the manager doubled back to ensure he cleaned his mess up?

Again, in 8 years I’ve never been approached about my shaving or a mess in ANY of their facilities. Just food for thought.

Good experience overall. I like the new gym over the old one. There's more air flowing with the giant fans above, and feels much cleaner. We'll see how long that persists. The locker rooms are good... Better than the musty carpet they had at the old location. They do a good job of keeping it clean. Note that there is no sauna at this location.

There's a good diversity of equipment. 3 squat racks, 5 stations for standard bench presses. It will get busy after 5pm Mon-Thurs, so if you're trying to get squats in, get ready for a short wait. Cable and pulley machines can have a wait too, but it's not too bad. Nitpick-- no one  puts their dumbbells back where they're suppose to be

Staff doesn't give me or my buddy any trouble. But remember, they are sales people first in this business, and fitness second. Nothing wrong with that, just keep that in mind and you'll have better interactions. But then again, I'm there to lift not mingle with staff.

This LA fitness location is probably one of the better locations I've been to. It's better than other gyms I've been members of. Definitely recommend, just know that you're not joining a high end fancy gym here.. you're also not paying that price.

Recently opened with super new equipment. Only thing missing is a Smoothie Bar and this place would be perfection. What redeems it is the staff is super friendly and I like that it's never too crowded like other locations are at but that might probably change as more people realize that it's open. Anyways, love coming here to administer pain to my muscles lol
