The food was really good I just did not like how the server kept talking to me in Spanish when I told her twice that I do not speak the language. She spoke perfect English and just because I'm Brown don't assume that I speak Spanish, be careful they do add a 18% gratuity to all bills.Food: 5/5

First time I tried tacos de lengua. Not my favorite but they were still good. Either way it was a lot of food and I couldn’t finish it. We had the cocktail shrimp and as an appetizer. Then for our main course I selected 3 tacos thinking they came small, surely was I mistaken. They were huge and I could not finish. I also ordered a sopa de Res, which was absolutely delicious ! Loved the decorations and classic music.
Overall it was delicious. We ordered beef fajitas that came with freshly made tortillas, beef tacoes, and some guac and chips. It was delicious. The food portions were generous we couldn't finish it and took a take home box and the prices are great. Very clean, nice atmosphere, great music. The waitresses are kind if you are kind and want you to have a great meal. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some good authentic Mexican cuisine.

Here’s a detailed account of our visit: Food: The food at this place is truly delicious, and the portions are generous. Every dish was full of flavor and authenticity, making our evening memorable. Drinks: The margaritas were a highlight. They were large, well-prepared, and reasonably priced, perfectly complementing our meal. Ambiance: The restaurant is small but very cozy. Although it’s not very spacious, the warm and friendly atmosphere more than makes up for it. Service: The service was exceptional. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Cost: My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner with two large margaritas for a total of $95, including the tip. We found it to be a great value for the quality. La Fondita Mexicana is an excellent choice for tasty food in a cozy atmosphere with attentive service and fair prices. We will definitely be returning!
Omg best Mexican food I've ever had in my life, The Sopes are amazing and made from scratch. Beware either come with an empty stomach or someone to share the dish with or you're going to be leaving with leftovers! The shrimp torta is amazing, the shrimp is very high quality. The service was amazing, I came in at 15 minutes until closing and they were very kind, friendly and understanding and still willing to cook me fresh hot food. After I explained to them that I was staying in a Airbnb and had nowhere to sit down to eat, they were more than wanting to accommodate me and open a table back up for me so I could enjoy my food at the restaurant. In a way it's good that I'm down here as a tourist and don't live here because if I lived close to this place I would probably go broke coming here all the time.

We order take out , and food was horrible, it was a chunk of old nachos with horrible raw chesse and hard dry meat … no sour cream… no tomatoes no guacamole …. Just what you see in the picture, cold and in a chunk all smudge together
We're tourists from Manchester that stumbled across here on a road trip across the U.S. Reasonable priced, great quality food, very clean and great friendly staff...even if they couldn't understand our Mancunian accents they couldn't of done more for us.Food: 5/5
