Mission

The LaGrange Police Department has evolved into a team of dedicated individuals with a common goal at heart. This goal is to provide an environment within the City of LaGrange that is both safe for the residents and those who choose to visit our City. This goal can only be achieved by maintaining a level of professionalism in our agency so that the public, as a whole, maintains total confidence in our ability to enforce laws in an impartial and courteous manner.

The members of the LaGrange Police Department strive to provide the highest level of twenty-four hour protection. We challenge ourselves to educate our members to the highest level, and we constantly update our training and tools not only to enforce laws and ordinances, but also to educate the citizenry as to the prevention and protection of one's self and property. We further realize that we not only represent the citizen's of LaGrange but the law enforcement profession nation-wide.

We firmly believe that our goals, as an agency, can only be achieved by involving the community and truly working together to make the City of LaGrange a safe place to reside and raise our families.
