Less than pleased with the treatment that my husband and I received from this venue. On the bright side, the food was absolutely AMAZING, the DJ was fantastic, and the head server for the bridal party was phenomenal in making sure that we had everything we needed. The night appeared perfect.  Our reception appeared flawless, but after much disappointment to get there.
The night before our reception, we arrived to see that Mark and Karen were giving tours to other prospective clients and they did not even greet us when we struggled to carry all of our items in to the hall.  They continued to show clients tours of the areas around us while we stood and waited another 15 minutes or so, after transporting everything in, to even be spoken to by someone from the hall.  The memorial table that was supposed to be set up was delegated to a meager credenza at the back of the ballroom which was insulting at best, because we were assured that the table set-up was not a problem.  We also were two seats short at the head table for our maid of honor and best man after having gone over ALL of these things in detail and watching Mark write it all down at the ten day meeting.  
We held our ceremony off site and had use of the manor house for photos and getting ready from 1pm on 12/29 -11am on 12/30 since we decided to rent the house for the first night of our honeymoon.  When the bridesmaids and myself arrived at the manor house and went upstairs to the bridal suite the furniture was in entire disarray.  The ottomans were on top of the sofas, the vanity chairs and bar stools for the high top table in the honeymoon suite were packed into the bathroom, the bench that sits at the foot of the bed in the honeymoon suite was thrown on top of the bed, and the coffee tables in the bridal suite were pushed up against the walls.  My uncle and bridesmaids moved all of the furniture where they believed it belonged only to find trash left in the master bathroom including an empty contact lens container left on the sink.  This is entirely unacceptable and we doubt that the two to three couples that were touring the property the night before our reception saw the manor house in such a state.  
The reception itself was perfect but guests have since brought discrepancies to my attention. Mainly the staff. They hovered over our guests and removed food from people's seats before they were done eating.  My brothers' salad plates were taken from them before they had even gotten to take a bite after the intro. dances.  After the champagne toast and dinner my husband had to tell the server multiple times to stop trying to clear our champagne flutes that still had champagne in them. I also had another drink that was cleared from the table before I had even gotten to drink it.  We had delegated that immediate family members, who were identified by both name and table, be included in the toast and they placed champagne in front of the wrong guests, at wrong tables, and in front of minors in one case.  During dinner they gave guests with special meal requests the wrong food, including, after specific instruction to give the best man a gluten free meal due to a medical requirement, giving him the wrong meal and giving my sister in-law, who also has a special diet due to medical reasons, beef burgundy when we paid extra money to give her a special plate that fit her dietary needs.  Luckily the best man was assured that the food served to him was in fact gluten free, but Mark assured me that he would be given his own meal, not what the rest of the guests had been given.  Two of my guests arrived to their table after cocktail hour to find that they did not have a seat at their table or place settings and on top of that, there were multiple guests who were served alcohol in excess, after not being carded (minors included) to the point of illness/severe intoxication.  One of our guests was served in excess of 18 alcoholic beverages!!  Beside the bridal party's servers who were phenomenal, the staff here is unprofessional and negligent and we DO NOT recommend this venue.

We had nothing but a great experience planning and celebrating our wedding! Mark and Karen were incredibly helpful with everything! We especially enjoyed getting ready in the Manor house, located right on the property next to the hall- it's absolutely gorgeous and cozy! Food was delicious, service was wonderful! Thank you for making our day one to remember! Definitely recommend LaLuna to anyone having a upcoming event!

Had my daughter's wedding here,at La Luna,and everything was perfect the staff and food and owners are great  would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a great place to have a wedding or any kind of affair

Mark and Karen,

You and your staff at La Luna made our wedding and reception one to remember! Your attention to details were beyond our expectations and we could not have picked a better group of people to make our wedding and reception everything we had envisioned.  We can not forget to thank Pete your in house DJ as well for keeping the dance floor full and going all night from the moment he started.  Also the amazing food and desserts you also had prepared for our wedding was the talk of the night and a week later we are still hearing complements from family and friends how great it was.  The manor house was also something we really enjoyed using, it is a great house to get ready in as well as to get some great photos.

We highly recommend La Luna to anyone looking for a venue to host a wedding, reception, or any sort of event at!
