While the food is enticing, I highly warn against ordering their tamales veracruzanos. Live very nearby and when checking the tamales, they were still cold. To add insult to injury, they don't make them fresh. They are cooked and then frozen to be sold the next following days. Bought some today but the batch I bought wasn't made today but on a Thursday. Makes me wonder what other food was just cooked and left in the fridge to be heated up and sold the next day.

$17.28 for four cold tamales.

Love to shop there. Authentic. Professional personnel. Helpful. Great meat/chicken. Elote tamales calientitos. Fresh pan dulce. Diner. Fresh veggies and fruits. Homemade mole. Lots lots more.

Hours are incorrect came rushing from the other side of town because it says it closes at 10 pm.  Arrived at 9:40 it was already close and no employees. Get your hours straight.

I grew up in Mercedes and visited a few months ago. I stopped at this meat market and bought about 40 lbs of prepared fajita and 8 cow tongues. I properly sealed them and drove back to Colorado. I have since been eating the meat and its the best meat at our cook outs. The staff was courteous and friendly. Would recommend it to all my friends and family.
