The absolute BEST Mexican food I have ever had. The plantains in the black bean sauce was so incredible. If you haven't been here before, it is a absolute must try Mexican Restaurant.Food: 5/5

While the building looks very Tex-Mex it becomes apparently clear the moment you step in that this place is not. With a beautiful patio to sit and enjoy whatever you like the atmosphere is just as good as the food. I highly recommend anything mole.Food: 5/5

I ordered the Chicken Mole Poblano burrito. It was pretty big, filled with a lot of chicken. I would have liked a good balance of the onions and jalapeño, but not complaining about how much chicken was stuffed in this big boy.  A McDonald’s meal now costs you $16 bucks, basic fast food vs this. I’d rather support a small business and get some authentic Mexican food. It was juicy, flavorful and the mole sauce was a good balance. The jalapeños and onions added texture and extra spice.  I came around 9:30PM, was served a hot burrito within 10 minutes or so. Service was good too, they gave me extra salsa and weren’t stingy. Some places charge you extra like Que? I’d come here again!

I was expecting this place to be expensive. It was very affordable for this area. The service was great. Very friendly. Good food. Excellent salsas. I like that they support our indigenous community aka immigrants. No human is illegalFood: 5/5

Outstanding Mexican restaurant in Berkeley. They said they make great mole and they do. The mole burrito is a gutbuster but so good. Excellent flan as well. They have a nice garden with heat lamps.Food: 5/5

I met a few of the friends there for my birthday. The courtyard on a beautiful day is a nice draw. The multitude of yummy menu offerings is also a reason why I will return. I only had a fish taco today it was okay. It was on 2 wet tortillas. They gave me enough food that I could have used two more tortillas. Though it's kind of self-service as far as cutlery. The staff bringing out the food consistently brought napkins and silverware if they saw you hadn't prepared for your meal properly.  Parking: Small parking lot in the back

Very expensive $20 before tax and below-average taste. I would say this is above average for the area but not enough to justify its cost.  I generally have the enchiladas which are my preferred dish. The sauce is great, however the chicken, rice, and beans are often not cooked well and do not have a good temperature and texture. I do like how the food is spicy and flavorful.  The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with a great patio.  If you are already here and are willing to pay $20+/pp I think this is a good spot, but I would go out of my way to come here.

Great place to eat, food was really good. The Chile Relleno is delicious. The  beef fajitas are so filling too, delicious! Try the agua de Sandia if they have it. It was so refreshing.Food: 5/5

Love this place! Staff are super friendly. A real family business. Everything is super yummy especially the barbacoa lamb  which is NOT overpowering, and the mole is the bomb!Food: 5/5

Good food, terrible execution.  They take forever, mess up orders and get lost.  Don't ever call anything in.  Just use a app and charge them a fee since they can't get their operation together.  Good spot to eat in person, but wow. That's the longest par burritos I've ever waited on.  Oh yea... 2 burritos are $28.  Vegetarian options: They are fine
