While Visiting my uncle, we got hungry and decided to try a new place in his neighborhood. The food was delicious and the servers were very attentive. I'm definitely going back. I had rolled taco/ taquito plate. Reasonably priced and well made. I also tried tamales. 1 Pork and 1 cheese/chili. Didn't care for either unfortunately. Service was very good waitresses were kind and personable.Food: 5/5
This was my 1st time eating at this location. My Mom, daughter, and her fur baby Husky, were able to eat outdoors, on this beautiful sunny morning. Wasn't crowded at all when we got here around 9:30. The service was excellent. We weren't forgotten being outside, haha. The food was delicious, no complaints. We'd definitely come back, and encourage others to as well. There's parking in the back too. The dining area is on the side, under a covered patio. You're not eating while facing passers-by, just in case you're shy. Hehe. We absolutely loved the Ladies restroom. The bright Burnt Orange wall tiles; gorgeous floor tiles; new restroom accessories left me in awe. Felt like home, welcoming. Simply beautiful! Very clean, all around atmosphere. Enjoy!
I've been buying tamale masa there for over 10 year's this time I order 25 lbs and it was discusting was not well prepared paid 3.50 dlls per pound drove all the way from corona ,didn't mind because it was great before but this is the last time ever .What a disappointment....
Came early for breakfast and I love that everything is made here. The homemade tortillas and chips and salsa were amazing
There was obviously a new waitress attending us but we had patience at first, 10 minutes flew by and it was ok. Then 15... then 20 and well we were shaking because we had not eaten breakfast yet. The waitress rarely checked on us and seemed very agitated when I told her my order was wrong when I had specified it from the beginning. My family loved coming here but if we experience this again then we will not be coming back. The food made here tastes very different but not in a good way.
I went to take my mother to eat on Sunday that's was yesterday it took awhile to get our food I'll order chicken enchiladas it didn't have no Flavor at all that was the chicken I'll told the waitress she didn't say nothing the owner was there she could had told her Me and My husband use to go to her other Restaurant on Nelson St it's use be great food but than they must exchange cooks now it's not good at all the food so we don't go there no more but my mom wanted to go so ill took her there but I'll won't go there again prices are too much for the food that's not good i won't go back it's not worth Money I'll should have took My Mother some place eles definitely I'll Recommend not to eat here it's not worth your Money Parking: Amar st
I ordered 2 chicken and 2 cheese chili tamales and by the time I got home to examine what I got I called and called and no one picked up the phone. I had to end up throwing 2 of them away. I can't eat whatever it was. Not sure if it was beef or pork. Normally I get everything right but this time no. The food is great but this is disappointing because I couldn't eat it.
The food is great and the restaurant was clean. They serve Menudo every day, I didn't know that I had chilaquiles with carne asada. It was delicious also they also give you chips with 3 different salsa's and the best part they have Cafe de Hoya=5
Great food, very polite service, expedient. And dealing with the pandemic The best way.
