I was pretty disappointed when we ordered our waiter had to send someone else to retake our drink order because he didn't understand English. My smothered beef burrito was taco meet mole. My daughter wanted to make but they had none so she ordered the chicken enchilada the chicken was dry and tasteless. My husband's plate and drink was the only good part about the whole experience. Needless to say we will not be returning.

We love La Puente. The food is delicious and affordable. The portions are huge and I can never finish mine. I get to take the uneaten portion home and have another meal the next day. The service is good and it's one of our favorite places.

Great food but we always tend to have slow service. If you aren't in a hurry definitely try this place

Food is great! The only reason I gave only 4 stars is due to service. Service is good but could be a little better with checking back after a few bites to ensure everything is okay and it takes a bit to get the check. I'd still recommend though just not if you're in a hurry.

If zero stars was option they would get it. Normally we love La Puente chili verde. We normally go to the south Salt Lake location but decided to try this one because it was closer to home. Big mistake. We ordered it to go. It took much longer for them to get it ready than they said it would but the biggest problem was the taste and quality of the food. The taste was extremely bland. There were only 2 small pieces of pork in each burrito. We ordered it with cheese and onions but there was very little cheese and only a tiny bit of onion. It certainly does not measure up to other locations and I doubt they will be in business much longer if this is what they serve every day. We will never return to this location. I would highly recommend driving to another location if you are craving good Mexican food.
