Not the nicest la quinta I have been to, But it is still nice. It doesn't look like much and has no bells and whistles but it has the basics and a pretty nice pool if you give it a go. Breakfast and coffee in lobby and staff has always been nice and helpful when we stay here.. Many times over the years. Convenient location off main drag. Elevator has gotten stuck on us though and that was spooky... Didn't open for like five minutes... Got a little hot in there. We were lucky that a maintenance worker was in with us and could radio for help. Otherwise..

It wasn't awful here by any stretch of the imagination however my bed sheets were never changed despite me staying here for a week and leaving the card that asks them to change the sheets. I put 3 stars however because both people at the check in desk that I talked too were wonderful both Corey and Mildred. Staff is friendly and greets guests when they pass and breakfast is good if you just need something quick. It's located in a very convient area with a gas station and discount store right next door. If you are looking for somewhere to just sleep for cheap then this place is perfect for you.

Checked in and all was good. Was even able to check in early. The place is definitely showing it's age as everything is older and a little beat down. Room was clean but outside wasn't too nice. However after sleeping a night, when I went to move the chair to put my bag to the side, I discovered a used condom under the seat....after my dog almost licking it on the ground I obviously wasn't happy. I went to the front desk and showed them the picture and they reacted very calmly and asked me i wanted to leave or just change rooms. I guess I was expecting a bit more concern or a credit or something of the sorts but all I was given was a room change. So after changing my room it was a slightly better experience. Breakfast was lacking but expected for a 70 dollar room. Cleaning people were nice although one did barge in to my room in the morning as the system said I had checked out.

Stayed here during Voodoo Fest, and spent almost $450 For 3 nights. Our original room smelled terrible when we entered and we immediately asked for a new one. We were given a new room promptly, but.it smelled just as bad. I told the gentleman it still smelled bad, he did not have any further suggestions. Two of three lamps in room and alarm clock were unplugged. Plugged them back in a quickly realized why they were unplugged, 1 lamp was broken, and 3 of the outlets did not work at all! Our phone in room did not work, so when we needed additional towels I had to go find them myself on a cart. The housekeeping staff was very kind, polite and helpful....she even offered to come spray our room with industrial disinfectant spray when I mentioned the smell. It was a damn, stagnant mildew smell. I believe it was either the a/c unit.or a leak causing it. Only having 1 working outlet in our room was very inconvenient for charging 3 phones, blow dryers, curling irons. Outlets were very faulty and likely fire hazards. Also our tub would fill with water as we showered and then take a long time to drain. My roommate mentioned our issues to the front desk, and no resolution was offered. I would not stay here again due to lack of cleanliness of accommodations. Staff seems to be trying very hard to keep it clean, and all were very kind and helpful. I would really appreciate being contacted by owner/ manager in regard to these issues.

Before I go in let me start by saying the staff were very courteous and helpful. No complaints there but on the other hand, hotel was really dated and is in need of renovations. The room smelt good when we walked in but bathroom had hair in the bathtub and on the floor. I don't consider paying over $100 for a room cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.
