I'm a bit of a fan of La Quinta in general and this one was no different. It has the typical bright colors and nice artwork in the rooms. This particular location is very large and getting to the lobby from the room can be a bit of a chore if you're on the very end. The breakfast was slightly better than some other La Quintas that I have stayed at. Everyone I interacted with was nice and I had no issue with anyone. If I had to complain, the room did seem a little old. Nothing horrible, but the bathroom sink handle was a little loose and the outfitting just seemed slightly dated. Bed and sleep was perfect.

The hotel has a comfortable modern atmosphere once you walk into the lobby. Two desk receptionists greeted my youth group and I which was nice, considering that it was past midnight. We walked into our rooms and it included furniture alike any other hotel room - two clean queen beds, a desk & chair, T.V., dresser, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink area, and bathroom. The beds were comfortable to sleep on and I woke up to nice breakfast offered on the first floor by the lobby. I do not live near Tennessee, but I would definitely come back any day!

Bed bugs in room 202. I just stayed at the La Quinta and was horrified by how my visit ended. I woke up with bites all over. I was unsure what caused them and let the front desk know on my way out that they should check the room. They thanked me and I was on my way. After visiting my doctor, she confirmed that it was bed bugs. I called the manager and he was rude and dismissive, saying that he was "an expert on bed bugs" and that it must be something else. He offered no compensation or apology and did not even confirm that he would take care of the problem. After further research, I have found reviews dating back 3 months that have had the same problem. How can you run a business and spread this kind of misery and have NO customer service to make amends. Unbelievable! Stay away!

So the bad. It was right next to the freeway. And I overheard the breakfast attendant complaining about the customers a bit. The good. Everything else. We stayed on a Tuesday night and left the next day. The staff was professional and courteous and our special request was granted. The rooms were decent and clean. We slept well through the night, but it was the middle of the week and very slow. Nothing stuck out as bad or great either way.
