We used the conference room for an all-day training session and it was great! The staff is SO friendly and eager to help and even rearranged the room last minute to suit my preference. We had a great experience at a very affordable price. We had to provide our own TV for the presentation, but it wasn't an issue as a surge protector was waiting for us. We also had to provide our own food, but the price was so great, we didn't mind at all. I definitely recommend La Quinta Lanada for their conference room!

I have previously booked with this location, and I absolutely loved it. My family booked plenty of rooms and also rented the meeting space. Now when I call to see about the meeting space, I was informed the meeting space now is used strictly for business meetings. Taking that space away from the general public just doesn't make since to me, unless it's going to be a strictly business hotel. I can understand no parties because it's not a huge space and it could disturb other guests, but something as simple as a baby shower or a bridal shower, I don't see the harm. But what can I say, rules are rules. My issue comes with fact that I called the hotel 4 or 5 times, left 2 messages (1 voicemail and 1 with an employee) asking for the hotel manager or for a call back. My call was never returned. I just had to try again and when I asked for the manager again I got the front desk manager, who put me on hold got back on the phone and told me she saw where I booked the space last year (I did not book the space last year) and that the rules had changed because they felt it worked better that way. Which is fine, but if I have called the hotel that many times I would have appreciated the opportunity to be heard, instead of her getting the phone reciting the message I left with an employee. At least I know the message was received, it just wasn't important enough to warrant a response.

I sometimes use this place for somewhere to meet with my bride's and do their hair and makeup. It is always clean and there is always someone at the front desk, which is something you can't say about a lot of hotels. I've actually had bride's book with them after doing their trial there because they enjoyed the space and cleanliness They offer shuttle, and go out of their way for their guests. My mom stayed here one time while with my dog and told me it was a mini vacation for her. Also even walking in the hallways if someone works there be it a cleaning lady or matenience man they are all very nice and greet you. This may be a southern thing but it goes a long way.

We recently spent the night while visiting family in Greensboro. It was the weekend of the dog show and so the hotel was filled with guests with adorable dogs. We didn't hear any barking in our room with the fan on (the children in the outdoor pool are what needed to be drowned out by the fan). Breakfast was good. The pillows were very comfortable, and my only complaint is that the bed was a bit too hard for me.

Overall a good stay. Early breakfast start time which was convenient. Room was nice and beds were comfy. Also pet friendly.
