If you're tired of your typical new American cuisine / white hipster scene brunch place, then try something a little more exotic here. Philippine family owned, this place has a lower price tag than its neighboring brunch restaurants and with a much more intimate, particular decor inside. They even have nice jazz/classical live music sometimes, which is definitely a plus. 
Also if you're not up for the challenge of some blood / meat heavy dish in the morning, they do have some basic breakfast options which are very copious too. 
Last but definitely not least, the biggest downside is service. I live about 4 blocks away so I've gone there at least a dozen times in the past 5 years and EVERY SINGLE TIME there's been an issue with service: one time they'll forget my order, bring the wrong dish/drink, stop coming to check in on our food, wrong bill, overcharging, charging the wrong credit cards, etc. You name it! 
So unfortunately if you're in a rush, this is definitely not your place because something might go wrong!

Nice cozy place and excellent service and food. One must try their Halo-Halo, as a perfect dessert, after their succulent  lechón, washed down with some calamansi juice.
