This is one of the most wonderful family owned market store that features the finest Italian products and goods left in Windsor. Their deli and meat counter is superb in quality and selection as the store butcher is always on hand to offer his help and advice. Such warm staff and the owners are always on hand for any questions or that search for the elusive Italian product you might be having trouble finding anywhere else!

I can't say enough about this amazing little market in the heart of Windsor's Little Italy!  The quality & prices in regards to the Deli/Meat selections is amazing. I normally detest having to shop & order at any meat counters, however La Stella has changed this for me.  The staff is not only knowledgeable and helpful but also efficient and cheerful no matter what time of day you are there! I arrived one Saturday close to closing time when they were in the process of cleaning up all the coolers and yet the employees still went out of their way to make sure I was able to purchase the meat I required and reassured me that they were happy to do so!  You can find all your usual choices here such as chicken, beef, pork etc. however there are also specialty items such as delicious seasoned lamb kabobs, rabbit, veal short ribs , just to name a few. Don't worry , if you are not sure how to cook your items a helpful answer is just a question away from many of La Stella's cheerful employees.

Old school Italian grocery store with excellent service. The deli has a wide variety of imported and domestic meats at great prices.
