Victor and Rosa are an amazing son and daughter team here at La Vid. Fantastic high quality cheese and meat boards are available, and they import rare canned foods and oils/vinegars from Spain as well.  Everything is always well presented and clean. And the wine- oh the wine.  Victor has a huge variety of wine- largely Spanish and Portuguese but some very special French Italian and German.  He's a very knowledgeable Sommelier and can tell you about the region the wine comes from, the way it's produced, the age of the grapes and even about the families that produce it.  He'll find something you like, and often at great value as well. We come here a couple times a week- sometimes to sit and chat at the wine bar and others to take wine home with us. They do tastings every First Friday of the month too! Highly recommend.

Super knowledgeable owner. Wonderful mom and son duo. Great vibe, huuuuge selection. Fun music. Large location for lounging. Love the bar area. The cheeses and olives they make to purchase are amazing! My best friend and i both bought a bottle of wine and a jar of yummy charcuterie. Cant wait to do date night with cheese and wine.

WOW - a must visit for wine enthusiasts in the Carrollwood area! I’ve been coming in for months and I’m always pleased. Victor is impressively knowledgeable and very helpful, not to mention the AMAZING wine selection. Cozy and relaxing ambiance while enjoying delicious wine and tapas in their bar area or while shopping around. I’ve taken the Wine Master Class with Victor and it was so much fun! A HIDDEN GEM. A delightful wine store featuring mostly products from Spain and Portugal. On my 3rd visit and I am buying products to make a charcuterie board with some wines to add to my collection. Tucked away at the back of a plaza on N. Dale Mabry, it is easy to miss. You quickly notice their rigorous control over the quality of the wine and food ingredients. Specializing in Vermouths, Sherry, Paella Products, Tapas and unique quality wines, La Vid is a hidden gem waiting for discovery. Victor is your source for knowledge, products and recommendations. They have a nice assortment of food products to sample and use at your next party. Highly Recommend.

Had a fantastic date night here! Victor knows his stuff and really enjoys talking about his incredible offerings.  They've got a fantastic selection of wines and meat and cheese selections.  The prices can't be beat either!

Great place in Northdale/Carrollwood to drink and purchase wine. Many wines available from Portugal and other areas. Live guitar music plays music from the region as well.

This place is great and specializes in Spanish and Portuguese wines.  Victor is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his wines.  If you tell him what type of wines you like he will always recommend a wine that will like.  This place is a gem to discover new wines.  They also have Spanish beers and some small bites.  I highly recommend this place.

I'm not a wine person, but I can explain a flavor I like, and Victor can translate that into the perfect selection. Great atmosphere, charcuterie selections, and service, and of course wine ;!

A jewel in Carrollwood. I came in looking for two particular wines and came out with a third one that I was given a sample and was blown away! This place is a gem for the wine aficionado that’s looking for wines that you won’t find anywhere else. Highly recommend Pago del Vicario a white wine made out of the red grape Tempranillo

Great place to hang out. Victor and Rosa are always helpful and make great wine suggestions. The patrons are also welcoming and my wife and I find ourselves spending at least an hour each visit getting to know the other regulars. This place really makes you appreciate the culture of wine. La Vid is a hidden gem in the area.
