The food was 10 stars & the service was also outstanding! The manager, Chris, & chef came out to ensure they were putting out quality and chatted with us...& Chris continued to check on us. Very personable guy. Irene was our server and she rocks. We live over an hr away but will definitely be back, and will gladly refer friends & business associates. Make sure you try the plantains and the flan. And the coffee.

Fantastic experience! We had never been here, went for lunch. The atmosphere was wonderful! The staff was very knowledgeable, professional and personal! Everyone greeted us warmly and took great care of us! The food and the process were phenomenal! We can't wait to go back!

I am born and raised in Tampa and grew up on all the local popular Cuban restaurants. This place hands down has the best Cuban food I have ever tasted! Everything was excellent! The food, seating, service, atmosphere and music were all fantastic! So glad I found it!

Upscale Peruvian cuisine, with a nicely decorated dining area.  The Menu is true to the classical range of Peruvian foods and they are prepared honestly with attention to their origins.  I am very frequently dining in Peru, and La Yuma has done a great job of bringing those tastes to Lutz.  Family owned, and the owner is almost always there.

I've dined at La Yuma twice and both times the food was great and service was exceptional! The second visit we had some issues: the party prior to our reservation stayed at the table much longer than expected so we had to wait for our table. The manager gave us drinks on the house while sitting at the bar waiting. Then 2 of us (out of 6) had to get different entree because they ran out. So they gave us a free entree for next visit. The manager and other staff were very friendly and ensured we were happy the whole evening. Even with these faults I still rate them 5 stars because they accommodated for the mishaps more than expected. Nice atmosphere and food was tasty.
