Great learning environment for young children. We loved the teachers and staff. The academics could have been strengthened by a more challenging curriculum and bigger academic workload that would have better prepared our kids for Kindergarten. Our child attended this preschool for 3 years before entering Kindergarten. I would expect 3 years of preschool would give a good foundation before entering Kindergarten. While this school intervened heavily in our son's behaviors in the classroom (teaching him to get along well with others, which is important but also developmentally normal for toddlers & preschools to learn gradually), they did not spend as much time or focus teaching reading, math, and handwriting skills-- all of which he struggled with in Kindergarten, and continually scored below average or average with his peers. We were disappointed because he is an intelligent child however they did not work very much on early reading skills, early math skills, or handwriting nearly enough, especially compared to a kindergarten class in the public school system. We wish he had gone to a preschool that worked harder on students academic success and not just behavioral issues. My husband disliked this school because they were constantly asking for money, either for the school , or gifts for teachers (or coffee, or flowers) , or for fundraising events. It was nonstop. Many of the parents and many of the events hosted by the parents or school were also very snooty/snotty and pretentious. We much prefer a down-to-earth school and parent community. Last, the "security" here is ridiculous. Parents aren't allowed to enter the school to pick up their child at the end of the day. Wait in car pool line or near carpool line. They just started doing that this year. It makes parents feel unwelcome and slighted when the front desk is telling parents, no, you can't enter the school and you can't pick up your child when they exit the classroom (even though it's a very small, safe school where all the VERY friendly teachers know and greet all the parents) - you have to wait outside the school when picking up your child. I don't know why they started this rule-- for safety, they say-- but that's just one example where the school is so overly pretentious and overly protective that even parents whose kids have been attending for years are told they can't enter the school and walk up to their preschoolers classroom. Parents don't like being given the cold shoulder or being denied whatever access they want to their child at 3-5 years old.

awesome preschool outstanding teachers and principal .my son graduate from this preschool & my daughter will be in this school for one more year .
