My special ed student was being mistreated in Mrs Givens classroom, a kindergarten classroom K2. She scremed at him and papers were thrown at him just because he asked for a new paper. I asked the principal to have a talk with her and nothing was done I asked what was done... I also had a meeting with the teacher in which she proceeded to scream at me and tell me that I was making accusations and that I was incorrect it was my son's fault. When I asked Miss McCarthy the principal of the school what actions have been taken in regards to the teacher Mrs. Givens screaming at my son and at me no action had been taken. I also went to the principal's office today on the last day of school to make sure if anything had been done to justify what happened to my son as well as how I had been spoken to and at that point was then question as to why I was asking questions for my six-year-old son. My six-year-old son cannot speak for himself I am HIS VOICE, I am his mother how dare them ask me why I am asking these questions???? The school board will now be notified in hopes no other children be treated this way.

I am an SET, and I always enjoy working here. The staff is friendly and informative, and the atmosphere is pretty chill. The students are sweet for the most part although there is usually at least one student throughout a tantrum- nothing too bad though.
