Cool place if you like old structures. The old dam locks are huge! There's a cool storie on the sign telling the rivers trade history

Kind of a random drive, little tiny sign on dirt roads. The park itself is pretty nice. Pretty sketchy people there but it's a kind of cool little place to chill.

For how far out of the way this park is and with them having a river right next to it I had hoped for so much more instead it looked like a freeway rest stop

Historical is really stretching it for a small grass picnic area next to a muddy river with some big concrete blocks that used to be a dam a hundred years ago. That said, it's a decent picnic spot and not usually very crowded though quite small and generally humid that close to the river.
