Have been meaning to post our review for months. We hired LA Roofing to quote and reroof our home in the early spring since we had developed a leak over our laundry area. I told them about the leak and showed the salesman. He climbed up on roof and looked at everything and we were then given the quote. We agreed to it and set it up. They came in around three wks later and supposedly did our roof. When they left we noticed our front porch cover and part if the house trim we're badly damaged by thier nail guns.  I called and reported this and was told someone would come to inspect. The next day it rained hard and the laundry room leak was worse! I called and reported that to the secretary and she said someone would call  but no one returned our call.  After many calls over the next 4 days with no response, my husband asked to speak to the owner.  The owner must of told the foreman to call us so they finally did. They came to the house the next day and after looking it over we were told that they didn't include the flat roof in the job. It was not told to us before nor was it excluded in the contract.  That did not seem very honest.  We voiced our complaints about this and that this was why we replaced the roof in the first place. They put a blue tarp over the leaking area and said they would figure out when they can return, still not telling us it would cost more!! After many promises to come back and fix it AND repair porch cover damage and months going by without anyone coming by we were getting frustrated and nervous as it was now hurricane season.  I called again and said someone had dropped the ball and they would call me back that day.  Well, they didn't. We finally hired another roofer who came out the same day and fixed the flat roof. Then I received an email from LA Roofing quoting us a price on something they were suppose to do in the first place!!
We told them no and that was the end our ever recommending this company to anyone!!  Poor service , misrepresentation.  And, the porch damage remains!

The crew from Lafayette Roofing just left our house.  They were so professional and did a great job.  They left the yard without any debris or rubbish left behind.  I would recommend them to anyone that needs a new roof.

Ok, we gonna switch subjects this morning!!! All know how I've been having so much chaos n tradgety lately, well to make a long story short, I need a new roof, Now granted, I've been with the same homeowners insurance for 30 years n never made a claim, Mr Billy came over from Lafayette Roofing n spoke to me, me a woman, who knows nothing about claims roofs etc., he shook my hand n all the pleasantries, like he was talking to a man, he explained in great detail what was needed n what he was gonna do, remember he's talking to a clueless woman, boo whether we wanna feel we equal with men, we still have a long way to go, Mr Billy on the other hand, went way beyond to make me feel comfortable n understand just like he would have been speaking to Poppa Bear!! He has the patience of a saint, cuz he's had to talk to me on many other occasions! When a contractor can sit for more than an hour to explain to me the hows n whys n not get aggravated is a miracle! Mr Billy has gone beyond being a contractor n being personal to make me understand, he even called Poppa Bear to include him on everything! As for going the extra mile in courtesy won me over! Mr Billy is a very compassionate man n will work with u n will take the time to explain in detail what u need to know!! So with that being said, us women who don't quite know things about this, u can trust in the quality of Mr Billy's work ethics!! So please if y'all need a contractor for a roof etc., please call Mr Billy with Lafayette Roofing, u won't b disappointed, please share n tell them Lisa Marie referred his name!! God Bless n show this business some love n a lot of share! U won't b disappointed ❤️🙏🏼
