Camped here several times.  Best time to go is in early spring or late fall when temperatures are milder.  Remote but has fire pit, covered picnic table and vault toilet and it's free.  Only about half dozen camping sites available.  Good hiking trails to waterfall and to Mount Laguna.  Road to the area paved but in rough shape

This place is great! Free camping with a toilet and fire pit. Definitely something to check out!
