About

Southern California's oldest and largest Harley-Davidson dealership. Laidlaw's celebrates 50+ years. Come see us for any bike, parts, or service needs!

Story

Laidlaw's Harley-Davidson Sales, Inc. had humble beginnings. Just back from serving in the military, Bob and his young wife purchased the shop from previous owner Johnny Gregurich. Shortly thereafter in 1958, the name was changed to reflect Laidlaw's Harley-Davidson.

Hard work, dedication, attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction helped Bob on the inevitable climb to success, and the success of the dealership. The word soon spread that in a small town in the San Gabriel Valley, a person could purchase a motorcycle for a reasonable price, have it worked on by a qualified mechanic, and be treated with common courtesy and consideration in a family run store.

After 44 years in Rosemead, California, Laidlaw's Harley-Davidson is now located in Baldwin Park. The 45,000+ square foot, state-of-the-art building is located at 1919 Puente Avenue in Baldwin Park. The building has 500 feet of store frontage which runs within feet of eastbound Interstate 10 between the Francisquito and Puente Avenue off-ramps. The original store would literally fit inside the service area of the new store. The 70-foot monument sign is difficult to miss. It advertises not only the dealership name, but also that we are a Harley-Davidson Authorized Rental Center.

These days Bob is semi-retired but both his sons, Jerry and Brent, are diligent at keeping up the same standards associated with the Laidlaw family name. Attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction is still the number one priority.

I just got my bike back today after she was gone for sometime. Awesome place great service Tricia Was extremely helpful the entire time as was the rest of the staff. Highly recommended for collision service 5 star service all the way UPDATE....I unfortunately wrote this review as soon as I got home. I inspected the bike the next day BIG mistake always inspect before you leave !! Something I wish I would have done. The first thing I noticed was the scratches to the front of the frame near the front engine stabilizer, now I figured this may have happened during the tip over but this is impossible due to the location it appears they are tool marks. I also noticed some deeper scratches through the paint on the neck of the frame in front of the gas tank ....again tool marks there is no way this was there before as the bike was brand new never touched with 445 or so miles on it. So today I am inspecting the bike a little more as I plan to ride this weekend and as I'm looking at the belt I notice a harness that has been cut well rubbed through as it was dangling down on the belt, how could this happen !! Now I have to repair this problem, my turn signal the front one they replaced fell off the next day after coming home from work, and my right rear blinker is angled down again something I have to fix. I was told the repairs take some time due to the fact you guys are performing "Quality work" but what from what has happened to my bike so far id say otherwise. That being said I will still give the staff a thumbs up as they are very friendly and helpful but I will not recommend that you service your bike here.

Best dealership around! I traveled to come to this dealership and for good reason. Andrew and Matt are the best. Andrew knew more about the bikes I was looking then I thought I did. Best facility, best prices, best selection and best staff. Thank you guys!! RS

Got a 2018 street bob, great price and grat customer service. Matt was really attentive on all my needs. Joe Rodriguez my salesman was on it, he knows his stuff when it come to the bikes. Roxy in motorclothes was super helpful. Robin in the parts department is very knowledgeable in her craft and goes out of her way to get you what you need. Overall great experience would definitely recommend them.

Met with Rick to buy an 883 Iron that had a 1200 conversion kit. They wanted $9,800 and said they would give me a $130 helmet. I asked for $9,500 and the helmet I wanted that was $220. He said he would check and 30 seconds later came back and said NO. I said then how about the helmet upgrade and Rick said NO. So, I'm irked because its a trade in and he already told me they gave the guy $6,500 for it, therefore he's making 3K off the deal. So, I said, you're gonna throw away the deal over $90? I said its a retail helmet and it's costing practically nothing. He said No, we're done here. I was in shock. Rick was just a rude person and Laidlaw Harley lost a customer. I went to Bert's Mega Mall and got a sweet ride and had great customer service.

Walked in to see the new Heritage Softail. Was greeted by David Rangel. Did not have one in stock. David was very helpful answering my questions and showed me examples of the paint available on the model. Took my name and number. Expecting new bikes soon.
