My family and I stayed here for the first time on the weekend of July 22, 2017, and I rate Lake Bluff Campground at 5 stars. We stayed at site W22 and our friends stayed at W24. Both sites are terrific. W24 is a little bigger than W22, but we only have a 17 foot hybrid and had plenty of space. Our friends have a 27 foot TT and W24 has enough room for another 27 footer easily. These sites have individual water and electric hookups and back up right to the woods. The campground itself is nicely maintained and has a well stocked store. The roads are nice and flat so bring your kid's bikes....plus the campground has a bunch of things to keep the kids occupied otherwise. The people who run the campground seem very nice, and there's always staff riding around making sure all is well. The bathroom/showers are nice and clean too. We had a great time....very recommended!

This is our first time camping here and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are camping before school let's out so kind of off season. The bathrooms are very clean. The sites are large and partially wooded (no parking lot camping here). The store is small but well stocked. Staff has been great to deal with as well. Only down side is the bathrooms are always locked and you need a key to get into them there is a deposit for the key. Great place will probably come back again.

Not impressed. They charge per kid. You have to carry a restroom key with you. $5 if it gets lost. Big pain in the butt! Water only gets luke warm in the shower. We do have a large spot though.
