The Historic Select Theater, home to Lake Country Playhouse, is the oldest continuously operating theater in Texas. It is small, clean, and offers the usual movie theater snacks and beverages. It also hosts the Lake Country Symphonic Band concerts.

The oldest working theater in Texas is also really neat!  Not the best projection or sound but totally worth the movie experience.

1st time at the Lake Country Playhouse!! We are new in Mineola.  Took me back to the days of my youth in a small town theater.
