A very picturesque state park. Most recently stayed on the North side, which I find sunnier. Site 102 was a lovely big site. That outer loop does not offer much privacy. There was a narrow access through the brush to launch a boat or fish. Take note, this park allows swimming only at the designated beach. Bath houses are horrid and completely inadequate for the amount of sites. There are no dish washing stations, and the water spigot is at ground level. There are no water spigots except at the bath houses. You can hear the traffic from Route 202. Massachusetts parks are put to shame by most of the New York and Vermont State parks I've visited

Great place to rest & enjoy nature.  In the warm weather you & the family can swim.  Cold weather snowman building & snowmobiles are a norm.
